Master Plan of Salpasilichho

We have conducted a comprehensive study aimed at local-level development in Salpasilichho Village Development Community, located in Bhojpur district, Province 1, East Nepal. Collaborating closely with local leaders and the elected government, the research encompassed all six wards of the rural municipality, which boasts 2,065 households and a population of 13,651 as recorded in 2012. Utilizing in-depth surveys and community discussions, Kalpa Academy developed a master plan that addresses key sectors, including economy, education, health, agriculture, and infrastructure.

The findings of this study are not only intended to guide the ongoing efforts of elected officials as they complete their five-year tenure but also serve as a framework for future policymaking and development initiatives in the region. Experts believe that the insights provided by an organization can significantly contribute to long-term, sustainable growth in Salpasilichho, ensuring that the needs of the community are met effectively and responsibly. Elected officials have lauded the study for its comprehensiveness and potential to steer progress in the village.
